When I took the VARK questionnaire the other day I found that I am a kinesthetic learner… this means that I prefer to learn things by doing. I am not surprised by this outcome because I have always been a hands on type of person and I enjoy disassembling and reassembling things.
I think that my least favourite learning style would have to be the read/write learning style. I just can’t seem to learn like that, I would much prefer to bounce ideas off of another person like a fellow student than repetitively write and rewrite something.
I think that to improve my learning experience in the future I should try bouncing ideas off of friends doing the same or a similar subject to me and in this transfer of ideas with any luck more will stick in my head.

Over the years I have learnt many things about a variety of different subjects. Going through school gave me a rough idea of what field I would like to go into later on in life, I really enjoyed the sciences but found that they weren’t for me at a-level. Though school was a hard time for me I still did my best to achieve my very best in every way possible. During my time at school I began training in karate which I have achieved my 2nd Dan Black Belt and have continued to this today. I continued my learning by going to college where I studied ICT. I have found that ICT is more my kind of field to go into than science because I have found that I am good with machines as well as being rather creative, thus making me good at repair and programming. I have also learnt much in the jobs that I have had, they have helped me to cope with pressure and developed my skills with people and problem solving. I have also recently started training in Capoeira as well as continuing karate.
